Disconnect and delete data

There are three levels, from revoking a single network to having every record about you removed.

On this page
  1. Disconnect a channel
  2. Delete a workspace
  3. Request permanent deletion

Disconnect a channel

  1. 1
Open Accounts and find the profile card
  2. 2
    Choose Disconnect Channel and confirm
The stored authorisation is deleted immediately. Scheduled posts targeting that profile will fail until it is reconnected, which requires going through the network’s consent screen again.

You can also revoke PostMCP from the network side: LinkedIn, X, Meta and Google each list connected apps in their settings, and Bluesky lets you delete the app password.

Delete a workspace

The Owner can delete a workspace from the bottom of the Team tab. This removes its posts, activity log and every member’s access. It does not revoke social authorisations and does not delete your PostMCP account. At least one workspace must remain.

Request permanent deletion

To have all of your data removed, including credentials in the vault, profile metadata, drafts, the scheduled queue and logs, submit a request on the data deletion page.

  1. 1
Enter your full name and the email address on your PostMCP account
  2. 2
    Choose what to purge
Select All Platforms & Account Data for a full removal, or only the networks you want cleared.
  3. 3
Optionally tell us why, tick the confirmation box and choose Submit Request
The request is logged immediately and processed by a person. Matching records, queue entries and backups are removed within 30 days, in line with GDPR and CCPA.
